Selsdon Dental Surgery

I have found Dr Darshan Shukla to be very welcoming, friendly, efficient and professional. He put me at ease straight away. He is currently helping me with TMD and has explained everything very well. I have recently seen him for a filling which was dealt with very well. I am due back in July to have a tooth capped and get a new mouth guard for the TMD. I feel totally in safe hands and wouldn't go anywhere else.

So happy with my new veneers by Darshan Shukla, always been terrified of the dentist, at every appointment felt so ease and understood. Feel so happy and my teeth look amazing. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Darsh who has recently taken over the practice. I needed a root canal filling which I was dreading. Darsh put me at ease straightway, he sat in front of me to explain exactly what he would be doing as opposed to talking at the back of you. Hand of heart I felt no discomfort whatsoever. He has a very calming disposition, perfect for those of us nervous at the dentist.

I'm massively impressed with the service I received from Darsh and everyone here. I'm a reluctant patient and hadn't been to the dentist for many years. I only went as a tooth had broken. I was initially disappointed that the dentist I was familiar with here had moved on. From the first meeting Darsh put me at ease and took time to talk me through the process, from go to whoa, and to answer my questions with patience and kindness. In addition to this he was so gentle whilst fixing me. Darsh knew when I'd feel discomfort or cold and pre-warned me. So - love him. Got to say too - everyone involved in the process from my first phone call to the last was sweetness and light.

I couldn't praise Dr.Shukla enough. I have never been too keen on going to the dentist; I only do it because I have to and have never been fully satisfied. I've had a completely different experience with Dr.Shukla. I've been super self-conscious about a recent problem I've had where a composite tooth completely cracked off. I went to 2 emergency dentists over a short time period, as I had a holiday booked, to get this sorted ASAP. One procedure lasted me 3 days and the other 10 minutes and I was back to square 1 again and felt awful about it. After meeting Dr.Shukla, he thoroughly talked me through a more permanent procedure that would look even better on my smile. He made sure to get this done for me as quickly as possible, so I wasn't left insecure with this gap for a long period of time, and even tried his best to put something temporary in whilst I waited for a bridge to come back from the lab. I couldn't be more grateful for his work. He made me feel at ease, discussed what was best for me, listened to my wants and concerns, and in the end, gave me the best result. Thank you so much!
