        So saddened that my own parish is actively driving me and young people like me away by striking off the only Mass time I was able to attend! I'm an NHS worker on a shift pattern, and the only time off I get over the weekend is Sunday afternoon. Now the new parish priest has decided 3 Masses on a Sunday are too many, so instead of keeping one in the morning and one in the evening, he has chosen to keep both the morning Masses and to strike off the one on Sunday evening. This is a slap in the face to so many of us who can only attend on Sunday evening! No wonder the Catholic church's numbers are declining, if the young are made unable to attend Mass!
