Tibor and the team are very professional and easy to work with. The quality of the work is great and they are very experienced. We had a large kitchen extension and garage conversion, with modifications to the rest of the ground floor. They had a competitive price and have carried out the work for the same price quoted, no hidden extras. Any extras requests along the way have been no problem for them.

We trusted this company to install a new bathroom in our house last year which involved installing new radiators. These were faulty from the outset and whilst we informed Norbert time and time again he refused to replace them. In addition, the new wall that was installed has a crack running down the middle of it and we asked for a fan to be installed in the bathroom, only to find that they had installed the fan but not connected it to anything. We have tried to contact Norbert on multiple occasions and he has been unresponsive. Very disappointed as we trusted Norbert and paid in full. I would not recommend this company.

T K Building & Construction Ltd are highly experienced and I have found them very straightforward to work with and the quality of their work is excellent. Communication is very good and the costings are always clear and appropriate, the extension work has been done for exactly the price quoted and within the timeframe agreed. They were very responsive to extra requests I made and worked very diligently according to the schedule. They did an amazing job, highly recommend them!

Norbert, Tibor and Richard have just finished our 5x5m kitchen extension, music room refurbishment and garden landscaping. They have done a beautiful job. They knocked down an existing conservatory and built the large room in just over 3 months. Their price was extremely competitive and included the build, kitchen fitting, tiling, waste removal, electrics and gas, underfloor heating, floorboards, garden refurbishment (patio, turfing, fencing), painting, lighting and so on. They removed our old kitchen and turned it into a music room, with engineered hardwood floorboards and internal window. Tibor and Norbert were always accommodating and patient when I kept changing my mind as the build progressed, and were happy to alter everything from the size of windows and bifold doors to the placement of shelves and garden lights. Disruption was minimal. Tibor made us a makeshift kitchen, with hob, oven and sink so we could stay in the house, and kept in the existing doors to the very end, even though this made things awkward for them. Everything was kept clean and well ordered. Whenever I texted, Norbert rang back within seconds, offering solutions to all my issues. He also has a good flair for design, so it was useful to run choices of tiles etc by him. The price came in on target and Norbert gave us very cheap rates for the extra things I decided we needed as the build went on. He was also happy to pop by in the evenings and weekends to help with big deliveries, which I really appreciated. The build took just over three months, which is what they estimated (it would have been quicker but the kitchen delivery was delayed). I highly recommend TK Building and Construction for their building ability, work ethic (they were frequently here at weekends if we agreed) and open attitude to requests. But also for their sensitivity to our old dog and inquisitive 4-year old, and responsive attitude to the requests of our neighbours. They are a family firm with an extensive network of excellent builders and craftsmen who work ferociously hard and have a good eye for detail. You can see from the pictures what a good job they did. Were delighted.
