        Good station although as of waiting no easy way to get to the over platform for wheelchair/large luggage users

        Selby is a good old Yorkshire market town. It's centrepiece and star is Selby Abbey. Gowthorpe (street of fools from Norse) is main street. But with side roads and Market Cross shopping centre off. Friendly faces make this town a great place to visit.

        The only way to get to platform 2 was via footbridge. Not accessible if you are a wheel chair user or have a heavy luggage.

        Staff at the ticket office are either never there or dont seem to care and direct you to their new ticket machines - sadly the new ticket machines dont print and require a none existent staff member to assist
