The wedding rooms

Thank you to the staff at The Wedding Rooms for all their help with my daughters wedding last weekend. They dealt with all the usual snags in a very professional manner. The room set up was wonderful and it looked fantastic.

Where do I even start about these lovely wonderful people! As a bride with severe body confidence issues they could not have been more understanding and kept telling me how wonderful i looked and were not just doing it to sell a dress they truly meant it. So down to earth and just make you know you are a valued customer. I would recommend them time and time again as they are just wonderful. The service is outstanding and they go out of their way to help you!

I did not have the best experience here and since going to another bridal shop it confirmed what a bad experience I did have. The lady held the dress to fit my size and when I asked if they had clips to grip it like on say yes to the dress she said I watch too much tv. The dress was in the sale and after describing to me that it wont be in the shop next week if someone buys it; I mentioned I felt a bit like I should buy it so no one else buys it, to the reply I got was it makes no difference to me if you buy it or not I know during covid life is hard but I felt deflated and underwhelmed leaving this bridal shop. It wasnt until I went to another shop that made me realise how Id never recommend the ladies that were responsible for my first experience as a bride to be. EDIT: The owner responded saying no record of me going. Typical! Why would i leave a bad review had I not been! I have images of me in your dresses and I came September 2020! An apology would have been a better response and just shows lack of care that you 'have no record' of me visiting. Avoid. I did come to your shop! I wasn't going to point out the lady as I its bad taste but she has short hair and wears a pink polo top. I will happily send you the photos I do have. How dare you!

My daughter Amy and her now husband David,used the wedding rooms in Selby for their wedding in April this year, and we highly recommend the wedding rooms for weddings, as well as prom dresses, my youngest daughter got her prom dress from here as well, the staff are amazing, honest, down to earth and fun, also Dave is a amazing to , don't just read and ignore this review, go in and have a chat with them, they will all go out of there way to help you, we will be recommending them to everyone, Thank you all staff at wedding rooms in Selby , you decorated the venue amazing, thank you x Amy's mummy lol
