        Great experience from start to finish. Thorough and friendly eye tests and really helpful and lovely front of house staff helping me choose the frames that best suited me.

        Terrible service from the two ladies,rushing me in,talking to me like I was back in the Army,Training!There was only me in the shop?so no need to act this way. Then rushing me to pick the glasses I want!(cost a fortune by the way)are you ready !are you ready !picking the right glasses is important especially when they say,You know they are non refundable A customer service course wouldnt go amiss here ladies,or if you are not happy get another job somewhere hidden away from the public maybe an .I know HMP Wetherby are hiring,(perfect). Find another opticians. The actual optometrist was excellent

        A trip to this opticians saved my sight and I cannot praise the staff at this store highly enough. After struggling to get an appointment at my usual branch I booked online as I had altered vision and arrived to my appointment which was running on time. I had my 4 month old baby with me and the staff were so friendly to us both. Adam saw me and realised there was something serious going on straight away but he kept calm and made sure he was thorough so that he could give me an accurate diagnosis. He referred me promptly to York Hospital where I underwent emergency eye surgery to fix detached retinas and holes on my retinas. He did this all with a fussy baby sat on my knee, even conducting some of the examination stood up as I soothed my child. On top of this the store staff were so friendly and chatted with me and kept me calm and occupied whilst waiting for my eye drops to take effect. If this hadnt been investigated properly I could have lost my vision and I will forever grateful for this visit.

        I had full eye test on Wednesday. This was done by Helen she was outstanding. Oh what a professional she is totally brilliant. Bright. Informative. Helpful. The team were great I purchased two pairs of glasses. It was a pleasure. The whole experience was a success. After a total nightmare at a leading competitors hands. I could not believe how good it would be. Well done boots in Selby. Great team !!! When you walk into this store (smile your in safe hands) Thank you boots
