Just had a fantastic job completed by Neil, Robin & Ethan & the rest of the team. We could not be more delighted with the final product. The advice, workmanship, attention to detail, project management and patience was all of the highest order. They are a great team & were all a pleasure to have in our home. Neil and his team at Stonehouse construction have completed several projects for us over the years. Their approach and workmanship to all jobs has been excellent all round. We have just moved and are employing them again for a couple of renovation projects. We would thoroughly recommend them for both domestic and small commercial projects. Great service at a reasonable price !

Our project was to renovate/reconfigure our ground floor by knocking down a large wall to create a kitchen/diner/soft seating area, home office and larger utility. We installed a new kitchen, replaced the roof at the rear, installed new radiators, bifold doors, sliding doors and internal doors. Very little downstairs was to be left untouched, so we needed the right builder. Following meetings with many others, we chose Stonehouse Construction due to great references, reasonable pricing and owner Neil who was someone we could work with. Neil ably leads an experienced team of hard-working tradespeople that are used to working together, including Robin and Ethan, Kev and Joe (electricians), Ian and Ash (plasterers) and others if needed. It was obvious the guys wanted to meet our requirements and would spend the time needed, for example kitchen fitting by Robin was completed with superb attention to detail and all kinds of building work by Ethan efficiently and always with a smile. Any small issues that arose were fixed quickly, without becoming defensive like so many builders. Plastering and electricals were faultless, which is more than can be said about some of the singing/whistling! The main project lasted about 4 months as we continued to live in the house, so it was vital to feel comfortable. We were fortunate to choose a set of genuinely nice guys who were a pleasure to have around the house, did a great job and we would thoroughly recommend to others!
