This company wasted my time. They invited me in for an interview, which consisted of checking the FLT license and showing me around. Afterwards I was asked when I could start and I told them I could start the next morning. The person who was interviewing told me to wait while he spoke to the owner of this company. He then came back to me and told me, "don't shoot the messenger, the owner told me that he needs you to start now or not at all, so can you start now?" Of course, I couldn't start instantly there on the spot because I came for an interview so was not prepared for work. Didn't have safety boots with me or lunch. They should have told me I would be required to start instantly after interview so that I could have been prepared for that. It's crazy to expect someone to start instantly from an interview, but this is likely because it's a "family run business".
