The most bizarre Fish Pie I have ever been served. What came out to the table was like a babies dish. Now considering this is 12.95 I was very much looking forward to something special. Below is the actual description on the menu Made with Salmon, Smoked Haddock, Prawns and Cod. Served in a Creamy Leek Sauce. Topped with Mashed Potato. Served with a Green Salad. Sounds exciting I am sure you will agree BUT, what it should really say is; Pink fish, white fish and shrimp mixed in mashed potato, a few slices of cucumber, couple of salad leaves and a few halved miniature cherry tomatoes. I expected as described a base of mixed fish in a sauce with a grilled potato top but it was literally a side dish of mash with two or three shrimps a couple of pieces of white fish, one piece of pink fish and green flecks all mashed up in it together. If it contained any smoked haddock then it must have been the most mildest piece of smoked fish ever. I was hungry, I was being treated so I did not want to make a fuss. So if you are on a soft diet and want your food mashed up or if you do not like fish but want a way to eat it in disguise then this is the best choice for you.
