First Blue Healthcare

I have worked with First Blue Healthcare since October 2020 as a manager in one of their children's homes. When looking for my next career move, the biggest thing I had in mind was the ethos of the company. I wanted to work for people who genuinely cared about young people and their experiences in care. I wanted to work for a company who would always do right by the young people and go above and beyond to support them to achieve their goals. First Blue is this company. The homes themselves are of a very high standard and the company focus greatly on developing the teams within the homes. I hope to work for First Blue for many years to come and support the company to grow.

I enjoy working at First Blue healthcare. The managers are all friendly, the training you receive is good and the opportunity to develop and progress is fantastic.

I have worked for First Blue for what will be four years in August. I started as an RSW, I was soon promoted to team leader, deputy manager and now I am a homes manager since July 2021. The kids are very well cared for and the adult teams are amazing! Very supportive teams and managers, great training and a family feel.

I have worked at First Blue for just over a year now. Its the first time in my career I have felt valued as an employee and not just a number. I have been looked after and supported when going through personal problems which is a huge thing for me. I hope to carry on my employment with First Blue for a long time.
