Greenleigh Care Home

I went to see an eldery lady that i cared for, her son took me there. As soon as we walked in the smell was overpowering, it was a dirty smell. Walking further in there were 3 rooms where the residents were sitting, most of them were sleeping and the ones who were awake looked unhappy. We found the sons mom sitting between 2 women, one was sleeping and the other was awake so i started talking to my friend, she was shivering and rubbing her arms to keep warm so her son went to get a wrap for her. there were 5 men on the other side of the room,4 of them were sleeping and the other 1 seemed in a trance. we were there for about 45 mins and in that time the only staff to come in was a carer to get a wheelchair and a woman came to rub a cloth over a table. we left as it was dinner time and i was told by a resident that the food is never hot.

Staff always welcome on arrival. Career's very pleasant and helpful to mom. Choice of meals Home cooking no complaints. Rooms clean and tidy Outstanding . Most days there's activities, singing ect. A happy mom.

Our dad Albert was in greenleigh for a short while before going back into hospital, we would highly recommend the home, staff are lovely, passionate & we were more than pleased with the quality of care dad received. We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts Alison, Mandy & family xx
