In this age of internet shopping its a joy to find this delightful shop. If travel writing is your genre Id highly recommend a visit, the owner is super knowledgable, theres such a lovely choice of books, ample parking and great coffee next door.

Who would have thought a travel bookshop like this would be found just off the A350? Travel books to suit all needs and tastes plus interesting travel-themed articles of excellent quality. Oh, and excellent knowledgeable service.

This gem of a bookshop is long overdue. Why did no one (apart from Hugh Grant in Notting Hill) think of opening a travel bookshop before? It's a shop that over delivers in every way. This is a place to come and linger and browse which the owners encourage leaving you alone to wander but helpful with suggestions when needed. And you will need time. The selection of books is incredibly wide ranging and inspiring - the best travel writing covering everywhere you could think of but also cookery books, children's books (the wonderful Busy Busy World), relevant novels, covetable stationery (suede notebooks in every colour) and beautiful homeware imported from the owners travels.When my daughter visited Kenya I popped in for Martha Gellhorn and Out of Africa. We bought Paul Theroux's brilliant On the Plain of Snakes to read about Mexico and it's now top of the bucket list. The literature here will inspire your next trip. Ideal present pit stop too - coffee table books, war correspondent's journalling, gorgeous unusual recipe books. I'm a fan of the reading subscription which makes a good present for anyone hard to buy for - they fill out a questionnaire about travel preferences etc and the shop chooses and posts out a beautifully wrapped book each month. Love it here!
