A real waste of time pulling in. Best to drive on to the next one. Unless fuel is your only reason. Generally: what is it with these what used to be called 'service stations' when they is no service. I get it that vehicles are more reliable. BUT... during winter months there is a need for essential consumables. Which are very much lacking here.
