Phoned up last night 29th April 23 to book a table at 6pm for 7pm staff checked if there was a table free confirmation table free My first time there heard so much about the Dun Cow inn in Sedgefield let me tell you folks I wasn't disappointed arrived 6.40pm the place was buzzing most tables taken the young lady on the door most welcoming straight away asked what name and time took us to our table going pass people enjoying there meals chitter chatter a good feeling warm friendly atmosphere it was chilly outside as soon as you got inside warm lovely Cozzie feel about the place the Staff first class.Querkie traditional pub with a lot of history an imprint of Folks who have visited this lovely old pub over the years from all around the world sadly a lot of these old pubs are going a British tradition which is sadly missed.The Dun Cow goes from strength to strength Bravo to the Dun Cow .The food was to Die for honestly traditional home food cooking food locally found. I had the home made pulled pork salad and chips let me tell you first class melt in the mouth pulled pork a very close friend had the home made steak pie which was massive with pee's piping hot both mains first class to finish I had Home made Eton mess well what can I say best I have ever had it's like you had died gone to Heaven chewy merrigan loads of berries and cream with Ice cream on TOP lovely generous amount. Special friend had the home made Crem-brulia finished off with two cappuccino coffee's out of a proper coffee machine piping hot with chocolate s and a proper coffee Bisquets honestly folks get yourselves down to the Dun Cow inn Sedgefield Quirky traditional pub with a lot of history and the staff All first class always smiling jollie Soul's just what you want to greet you in life's troubles. Will I be going Back the Answer is I certainly WILL I will be recommending family and friends to visit feel the warmth and friendly atmosphere remember All those folks Who have visited the pub down the year's there imprint is on the pub through the ages even some of your own family members will have visited the Dun Cow inn over the years I know some of My family members have in days of yore respect to the owners,and staff members and to the lovely people who cook and prepare the food BRAVO and respect . So to the folks out there Pop in on your travels I would ring up first and book you won't be disappointed.
