Omg, we had a Sunday each, me and my girlfriend 4 each for 2 micro scoops of ice cream, stingy sauce and 2 sprinkles? The place was freezing cold too and the only heater was hogged by the lady serving that was having a chat with her friends. Never again

We went to the waffle cone in Sedbergh on 27th April 2023. The place was empty and we started to order. My wife changed her mind when we were still considering what to have. The lady serving had started to get a container out of the cupboard and then slammed the cupboard door. This coincided with my wife changing her mind. Reading other reviews. This incident has made me believe more that she slammed the cupboard door in annoyance with my wife changing her mind. The lady serving had facial expressions as if to say dont mess with me, I hate this job, dont like people and hope you have a terrible day!! I would advise the shop owners to introduce training for their staff and concentrate heavily on proper customer service. The coffee and smoothie that we had was okay but nothing special. It is such a shame as where the shop is situated, it could do very well, however people will probably go once and not again due to this unusual customer service!

Clean, cheerful, and inviting. Tea and coffee selection is limited: no Earl Grey, no Mocha - even though they do hot chocolate and coffee. Death by chocolate we rate at five stars; the churros were a little disappointing: not fully reheated in the air-fryer - some cold bits. We paid 20+ for a cup of tea, a cup of instant hot chocolate, eight churros and a small cup of oily melted chocolate, and one waffle with ice-cream. Expensive.

Staff not friendly or inviting, the young lady who brought the food put it on a table next to us without saying anything. It wasn't even busy, we were the only people eating in that day so I don't know why she couldn't put it on the table we were sat at, didn't feel very welcome. Very overpriced and the interior cafe section was cold and didn't look very nice for such an expensive place.
