Netherhayes Care Home

Not impressed with the room my father was in when we were first able to visit him in his room. Bedding was very thin, no mattress cover in place. Bed head was falling off. Curtains were very tatty. Vanity unit cupboard had an old water leak not attended to. On some visits my father was not dressed in his own clothes. We found many items of clothes in his drawers that didnt belong to him. Items that were his were scrunched up in the chest of drawers in a mess. On moving my father to another home we were unable to establish wether all of his clothes had been packed. However we found that 4 pairs of new or almost new jogger bottoms were missing. Despite describing make, colour etc. only 2 pairs were re covered. Not impressed with response to our concerns. If we had been able to see the room prior to placing my father at this home, we would not have chosen it. Some staff were very nice and as far as we are aware the care that my father received was up to standard.
