Went there for early evening meal on Thursday. My hubby had fish and chips - chips good but fish was terrible. It was over cooked (batter dark coloured) and only 5mm of fish inside! Worst fish ever seen! I had mussels which were ok but the liquor looked unappealing and was far too salty so bread was not eaten. No finger bowl or spare bowl for empty shells provided. Arrived back to holiday home and made cheese on toast as both of us hungry!

Very disappointing experience. We had booked a table and were told when we arrived that there was an hour wait for food. They appeared to be short staffed and seemed to prioritise walk in customers in the garden rather than pre booked tables. Service was poor and attitude was carefree. Numerous options on menu were unavailable. Given the plight of the hospitality sector I did not expect such a shambles. Would not return
