We stayed in St Vincents Garden and whilst the view was sensational, the rest of chalet didnt live up to the view. The garden was not private as described and so we had to keep the dog on the lead. We also had people using the garden and path as a cut through so we were disturbed in the night a few times. Its interesting to note that other reviews we have seen on the property all highlight this issue with the garden not being enclosed as described in the listing. We had no contact from the hosts on arrival or after our stay so the hosting was non existent. There were hardly any kitchen utensils, only a couple of tiny pans, plates were small, no washing tablets, the tea bags we think were left behind from a previous stay. For the money and being advertised as a premium product we would have expected a little welcome box of teabags, biscuits and a few nicetys. The cleanliness of the place wasnt that great. The sofa was full of crumbs between the cushions, we had to wipe down the kitchen surfaces and put the hoover round the living area as they had crumbs and dirt on. Beware of the steps down the garden as some of them are loose and when youre having to use your phone as a torch to take the dog out at night, watch out for dogs mess in the grass. Some outside lighting would help with this! Overall an average stay in an overpriced chalet where the fantastic view doesnt quite make up for faults.
