We could not recommend APD enough to carry out building work. We extended a 3 bed house to 6 bed in Cullercoats. They took on our extension which began at the start of Covid in February 2020. They carried on working throughout, knowing that as a family with 3 young children we were desperate to get back into our house as soon as possible. They worked as best they could to source materials and carry on throughout such difficult times for them. They were so easy to work with and had thoughful suggestions which added to our design ideas. I felt i could trust them completely and i know that any problems they are at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you for helping to make our dream home.

We interviewed and received quotes from many local builders for our home extension in Tynemouth before opting for APD build. We had immediate confidence in them as they demonstrated years of experience building in Whitley Bay and Tynemouth on both small and large domestic house builds and extensions. They were also very approachable and easy to get on with, which was an important factor for us. In many respects, they seemed to 'buy in' to what we wanted to do much more so than others and were helpful and offered good advice. We were not disappointed. The project was completed on-time and to an excellent standard. Some days there were as many as 15 people working on the house which was quite unbelievable! The team were very consciences and respectful to neighbours and worked cleanly to ensure everything was tidy and organised to keep disruption to a minimum. We are ecstatic with the new space and the quality of finish and couldn't recommend them more highly. We feel we received a lot of added-value elements throughout the build which I'm just not sure would have been the same with another contractor. They took great care and pride throughout the project. We are certain we made the right choice and feel we received good value for money as many quotes were much higher whereas APD's was mid-range which I would now say was a fair reflection for the work carried out. A huge thank you to everyone for a wonderful job. We have and will continue to recommend you as our experience was first rate!
