        My car broke down last week coming out of Kelso. The AA contacted Thompsons. They came earlier than they said they would. The auto recovery mechanic was polite, friendly and explained very clearly what was wrong with the car. It was a temporary fault and he made sure I got back to my mechanic in Kelso without any further problem. An excellent service.

        Returned to Alnmouth Railway station at 10pm in pouring rain after a few days away.flat tyre RAC member but after 2 hours was advised they couldnt provide assistance so were sending Thomsons of Seahouses. The mechanic and his truck arrived shortly after and he quickly changed wheel and inflated tyre plus gave some car maintenance advice. Poor man had been roused from a warm bed but was very professional and helpful. Absolutely recommend this business. Service: Tires
