Spice House

We have eaten here before and the food and service was good, unfortunately on our recent visit my onion Bhaji was almost raw and not crispy on the outside. There was 5 of us and all the food was cool , we mentioned it to the waiter he brought another member of staff over but nothing was done. Sorry we cannot recommend the spice house, they were too busy doing the carry out food to bother with we ladies , and it was not busy in the restaurant !

We got king prawn zalfrezi and king prawn Sagwala the flavours in the dish were delicious! The prawns were overcooked to the point of beef jerky texture, there were only 4 prawns in each dish, a little light on for nearly 12. Naan bread was very thin and not doughy. Chapati was top notch. Vegetable pilau was also pretty good.

OK. 3 curries, all different but tasted similar, lacked the depth of a great curry. Got our paneer order wrong, potato instead of paneer(same shape, different product)
