Today I phoned your police station, from Ottawa Canada as I had not been able to get in touch with my eighty four year old sister. How helpful the young lady was taking down all my information and very pleasant as well. She was able to tell me in a short time that my sister had been in hospital and had been released and would pass all the information on and some one would be in touch. in less then an hour a constable Clark phoned to say he had been in touch with my sister and she is safe and well Such a relief to know, when one is so far away that help is so close at hand. Thank you all and to know in a changing world that some things stay the same Best wishes keep well Linda Price. PS I believe the young lady name was Carolyn

I lost my car keys and they were handed in to Seaford Police Station. My husband went to the police station at 1.45 pm to collect them to be told they did not take in lost property any more. He said he had just spoken to the lady who handed them in. He was then told they would have been thrown away. He asked if he could look in their bin and was told no they had been sent away to be destroyed. He was then getting irate at being lied to and said if they had been sent to Lewes he would go there. He was then told a man comes and collects them. Then he was told to come back at 10 am next morning. We went down and referred to my husband's conversations the day before and lo and behold a plastic bag was produced with approximately 12 sets of keys in. Is this the way Seaford police treat all their enquiries?
