Best opticians ever!

I first went to Redgold in 2018 and was immediately impressed with their customer service. They take the time to help you with frames that actually suit your face, and they are genuinely interested in ensuring you have the best solution for your eyesight. I brought varifocals in 2018 and I've just done the same again today. I received the same high quality service. Highly recommended.

I have used Tom Burleigh and his excellent team at Redgold for years and just love the personal attentive service they give. This was typified recently where the optician suggested I try a new type of glasses, which did not work for my eyes immediately - not a problem, Tom explained that there is always a satisfaction guarantee and I was provided with a different type of glasses to achieve the objective - nothing was too much trouble - and that is why I recommend you use an Independent quality optician like Redgold rather than a bigger chain

I have been going to red gold opticians for many years now and have found there customer service excellent in all ways from been greeted at the door to receiving my glasses been ready for collection. Tom the owner and the team ensure top class service throughout and rightfully deserve a throughly good write up as if you are thinking about changing opticians or looking for then dont go further than Redgold opticians.

I write as a follow-on from the review I wrote 10 months ago detailed further below. I was in a "dire straight" so I went back to get my daughter a pair of glasses in the store around end of August / first week of September 2020 and I've decided to change my earlier rating from one star to five stars. In store I met a completely different, polite and friendly gentleman who took his time to attend to us in a very professional manner. I was quite blown away when we came back to collect the glasses when this same gentleman went out of his way to re-open the shop after they had closed for the day so that my daughter could get her glasses. Thank you for this excellent customer care......which has redeemed my perception of your services......much appreciated. _________________________________________ The gentleman we saw attended to us, seemed quite knowledgeable and told us what we needed to know and the receptionist was friendly, but some of the gentleman's choice of words and expression used to describe my daughter's facial features regarding the fitting of her glasses were subtly abusive and unnecessary........he should have been more careful and sensitive with his choice of words and expressions........reflecting on them, they are quite rude and offensive!......I did not respond to any of them while in the shop, did not kick a fuss and did not create any dramas........just politely said thank you and left the shop..........I sort of regret going there.
