Rocket House - Norfolk Beach Cottage

We just had an amazing girly weekend away at Rocket House - Norfolk Beach Cottage. Cottage was very clean, cozy, warm, great location for mini escape by the Norfolk coast. Great beach walks, wild seals on the beach. Thank you for recommendation to walk down by the beach to Happisburg, beautiful old coastal village and the most beautiful light house. Thank you Rocket house for hosting us. Definitely coming back xx

We've not long returned home from a wonderful weekend at Rocket House. Absolutely everything has been carefully thought out to help make your stay as relaxing as possible. Laetitia has also put the time in to create a guide to both Rocket House and the local area, from attractions and where to eat to local vets and where to buy groceries. We loved the seaside touches throughout the property which was very apt as not only is Rocket House coastal but it's also a stones throw from the beach! Rocket House is extremely dog friendly, with a dedicated cupboard full of doggy essentials such as poo bags, treats and even a dog first aid kit. Sea Palling's sandy bays are perfect for enjoying a few hours on the beach, plus just a short stroll in either direction are two lovely cafes plus the chance to see seals (from a respectable distance of course!) We would thoroughly recommend Rocket House to anyone looking for a relaxing and traditional British seaside holiday!

A fresh air escape from the big smoke. A snuggly cosy cottage by the sea with top quality service (I know what this is having trained and worked as a Mystery Guest for the hospitality industry 25 years). Every little touch Laetitia organised was thoughtful and surprising in a heart warming way. She loves this home and wants to share it with you because you will love it too. We shall always return. I don't normally post reviews but felt the need to after reading one recently posted by an obviously malicious reviewer. Location: Amazing, right next to the beach. Accomodation: Superb. Absolutely spotless and the ultimate cosy home-from-home. Host: First-class. Nothing too much trouble. An amazing welcome pack and brilliant comms all the way through the booking process and even dealing with some of our annoying queries throughout (thank Laetitia!). Dog-friendliness: The best we've been to. We have a very lively cockador and were worried that he might cause damage but the place is set-up to accommodate dogs. As with everything in life there is give and take... and the main thing you're asked not to do is let your pets on the beds - this is not too much to ask in my eyes. It must take an age to clean the place anyway without the extra cost and hassle of getting dog hairs out of the bedding. We kept our off the bed and guess what; there were not dog hairs on the bed, and so we didn't have to pay the extra (modest) 30 to deep clean the bedding! Another poster has gone to great lengths to put this place down as a result of their own inability to control their pets. Shame on them. Rocket House is an exceptional place to stay, and we can't wait for our next visit in the spring. I would recommend reading the 1 star review though; just to have a laugh at what horrible people there are in the world who have nothing better than to blame others for their own failures. We love you Rocket House!
