We used this garage for a bit to look after our curtain-side trailers. They charged us for more hours than the work supposed to take. For example, their simple trailer check with no extra work on it took 2 hours at least to compare that other garages usually charges you for 1 hour for the same job. But that is not all, we fell out when they issued us an invoice for changing all brake pads and one disc on one trailer and charged us for 16 hours. I thought it was a simple mistake as which ever garage I asked how long that work would take all of them said up to 8 hours and that's if the bolts are very stubborn. When I asked Fenwick about those hours, I was told that they lowered it from 20 hours and nicely saying what I thought had to be a simple conversation , I was attacked for questioning the hours. Before they issued this invoice they did MOT test on the same trailer. They asked to bring in the trailer on Saturday so they could prepare it for Monday 8 am MOT test. We brought the trailer on Saturday but when we came on Saturday afternoon, there was still nothing done. On Sunday we decided to give a good wash to the trailer and when we went to it, it was clear they didn't do anything to it on Saturday. On Monday I gave them a call asking when did they manage to check it if they didn't do anything over the weekend. I was told that the guys came at 6 am and it didn't need much doing, but when I received an invoice for it a good month after the MOT test, they claimed 7.5 hours. I don't know in what universe they live but I can't find 7.5 hours between 6 am and 8 am, or shall we say 9 am when they came back from the MOT centre. When I asked about it, they were again very defensive and started to attack me. Of course, I don't use their service anymore, but I thought I need to share my experience with them.
