P R Plumbing was recommended to me by splash rooms and I am so pleased they were. Both Paul and Rob have been brilliant. He has always turned up when he said he would and really has gone above and beyond any expectations I had. It was a full bathroom re-fit including knocking walls out. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave me lots of ideas that I hadnt thought of. I contacted PR Plumbing following a recommendation from a member of my extended family. I asked for a quote for some work in my bathroom. He agreed to come round a few days later after work & he specified the evening. On the evening in question I waited in for an hour & half, then with no sign of him I politely messaged to ask what time he was coming in case he had been held up. I received no response to my message, but i waited another hour & a half just because of the family recommendation. Not only did he not show up, but he has also not even had the courtesy to reply and apologise for wasting 3 hours of my time. I would absolutely not use him now as I require someone reliable and with good manners!

Plumber was instructed to install a bathroom suite for my mum. Within a few days of installing her 2nd toilet she had sewerage coming up into her toilet & shower. To cut a long story short, large wipes had been put down her toilet by the plumber resulting in my mums drains being blocked. Plumber denies putting wipes down her toilet. No one else used such wipes within her household. Upon further investigation the plumber came round and looked down her drain. He tried to blame my mums neighbours for the blockage. As my mum has her own drain, which surely a plumber would have realised, the neighbour couldnt have been at fault. The plumber was going to leave without putting the drain cover back over the drain. It was only because my 80 year old mum asked him that he agreed to put the cover back on but left her property in a huff. Dynorod were called out as an emergency and cost to my mum in order to unblock the drain. Plumber would not take any responsibility for this but he was most definitely at fault. He also left adhesive on her floor and wont take ownership for this either. This plumber was recommended by splash rooms in Scunthorpe. Please think long and hard before allowing this plumber into your home to undertake any plumbing work. Service: Shower installation
