Milestone Lofts & Homes Ltd

We used Milestone to complete a loft conversion and roof replacement for us following a disappointing experience with another loft company who cancelled our conversion without telling us. Karl and Sue and the team were great throughout, due to covid they completed the initial survey and meetings via zoom and also put together a really cool 3D view of the drawings of our loft which really helped envision what it would look like. They even managed to slot us in several months earlier than expected which was great. The lads who worked on our loft: Glenn, Paul, Mark and Jack we're all really friendly and hard working. We were shocked to see a few times they worked until late a few weeks and on weekends to ensure our work was completed on time and to a high standard. Having such extensive work of course doesn't come without the odd hiccup, we did have the odd leak here and there as the new roof went on and we also found the manufacturer who made our French doors (nothing to do with Milestone) had made a fault on them causing a leak. The lads worked hard to resolve this for us and came out straight away to help get us back water tight and got it fixed which is all you want from a company when things do go wrong. We're really happy with our new home, it's created a master bedroom with ensuite and due to the way they worked with us on the staircase it enabled us to keep a room to create an office too. Thank you Milestone for helping turn a house into our home! We would certainly recommend them and if we ever want any further work doing would use again.

We had a few builders come to give us a quote for extending and structurally improving an existing attic conversion, but we weren't convinced by their attention to detail or quotes. Milestone were extremely thorough in what they set out to do and were always clear on prices throughout the build, making sure we always approved any changes. Karl's team were always extremely polite and careful when doing the work. They were professional and very approachable making it easy to discuss the project and options like window height and location. This seems fairly obvious, but it was great that they took the time to check things with us as they could have just done what they wanted. There were some delays, but these were always communicated. We had some frustrations with some of the sub-contracted work, but this highlighted even more how good the Milestone team were and it was all resolved eventually. Overall we are really pleased with how the project worked out and everything seems to be of a very high standard and exactly how we wanted it. We would recommend (and already have!) Milestone to anyone considering a building project.

Absolutely brilliant company and team. Honest genuine and caring. Every single person who was part of the build was polite, respectful and most of all did a really.good job..everyone took pride in their work. 100percent reccomemd. Price competitive. Everything discussed along the way including options to save money. Milestone are a genuine and honest family business who really do care.

Milestone have turned my dark, damp, cold garage into a lovely bed/sitting room with bathroom and storage. Throughout the process everyone has been helpful, friendly and flexible in spite of difficulties caused by Covid 19 restrictions and lockdown. I would thoroughly recommend this firm to anyone.
