We contacted Greg for a murder mystery event at our wedding. He was enthusiastic and arranged for a company to call and run us through the event. It took several reminders to Greg before we got the call and Greg also offered to do a promotional video recording which we were promised a copy of. Communication was poor in the planning months and at one time I was beginning to think they had forgotten us. However the theatre company smoke and mirrors were great on the day and everyone loved the murder. However the promotional video was never done and subsequently, when I chased this up, after the wedding we were told there were no staff on the day to do it. It would have been nice to have been told that before the day so that we could have made alternative plans. We now have no recording to look back on and are very disappointed in the lack of communication.

Such a great company, so helpful and enthusiastic. I really felt like I had the support of a very competent team behind me. The day ran super smoothly and each activity linked up nearly to the next. In particular, Greg was a huge help with the planning, suggesting loads of things I hadn't thought of and making sure the day was complete. He couldn't have been more helpful. Can't recommend these guys enough!

Greg helped to source accommodation for a party of nine of us for my brothers Stag in Feb 2022. He was incredibly attentive and helpful right from the off. We were pretty open to suggestions for locations, but Greg shared a number of brill options with us and was kind enough to hold one for us whilst I ensured the rest of the troop were keen! We stayed at the Coach House in Somersal Herbert, which was lovely and perfect for our needs. Greg was super helpful and always keen to help - what I loved was that he was willing to advise and help even if it didn't result in for him.. i.e. he recommended a number of curry houses and pubs, for a meal out for us, and a pub crawl. Such a top bloke. We added a hot tub to our accom which was top notch. When we arrived to find no BBQ (we were expecting one), a quick Whatsapp message to Greg left this resolved within minutes (literally) and the BBQ arrived promptly fully set up the next day. Honestly can't recommend HDK enough.

Ive just returned from a business retreat which was run by HDK Events in conjunction with coaching business, LR Comms. The venue (a lovely and large farmhouse in Somersal Herbert, near Ashbourne) was the perfect setting for reflection and inspiration. Kim was on hand throughout to make sure that the event ran smoothly and it was clear that so much work and effort had gone into making this a quality experience from start to finish (with the pizza making in the evening and the buffet breakfast and tapas lunch being delicious additions to the learning). Kim had clearly done her homework on finding out what was needed for this event. She organised for local service providers to come along and get the participants in the right frame of mind through an early morning outdoor coaching session and an after-lunch meditation session. I would highly recommend HDK Events for anyone looking to organise a memorable, bespoke event, whether it be for business or for family and friends.
