Used to take my dog here often, but recently, the upkeep seems to be struggling a little bit. It resembles more Martin Mere Wetlands, than Jacksmere at the moment. Don't get me wrong, the dog loves the mud, but I can't say I enjoy the hazardous cleanup afterwards. Don't want to be too hard on anyone, because I know we've had a winter period, but having visited three other dog run parks, this does seem to have the same issues with the broken down turf. Most of the field seems waterlogged.
