Excellent service by the young man who attended me. Explained how he was going to mend my shoes and who much he was charging me. My shoes were ready the day and time agreed. A job very well done

Joe is a professional who provide his service beyond the lines. Once I went there to buy a shoe polish or wax to cover some paint marks on my shoe. He provide his professional service to clear that mark with a friendly manner. He is honest when providing his service. Thank you Joe

So, i have to add this first section, i have pretty good watch and had for couple of years, although only used a couple of times. and had it in storage for couple of years whilst away. and the battery went flat i took this into another Timpson branch " Not Scarborough"(which i won't mention here) The watch was damaged by the young lad who tries to put a new battery in it. This was confirmed after taking it into a Longines supplier, i thought all hope was lost until i called in to speak with Joe. he told me to report on the customer service site which i did, never got a response from the form filled out. Out of the blue a week after telling Joe he called to see if it was sorted and had head office had been in touch. explained they had not. From this point onwards he took it on himself to help me out. Contacting head office, explaining the situation. speaking with his area manager. and eventually sending the watch away for repair. This Lad Joe is second to none, he went well above what was not his fault or really anything to do with his store. but he did and i am very grateful for what he did. i hope the managers of Timpson's see this and realise that they have a top-class employee whose customers service is excellent ***** Joe thank you and if you are in need of keys cutting, shoe repairs, watch straps etc. this is the # 1 place and i will now always use.
