Best pub in the area and should be supported. Prefer it to The Farrier, which was ok but what I call fancy food that doesn't fill you up. Anyone staying on the Caravan Club site I say to try this pub. We had a lovely pie, chips and peas. Great outdoor area too for when we finally get a summer.

We visited this pub with our lively two year old dog and were immediately impressed with the friendliness and politeness of the hosts. The menu included most of the typical types of pub food, and it was really well cooked with good portion sizes. Even the dog was given some treats and made a fuss of. We ate outside as it was a fairly warm day in a lovely covered area from where we could admire the garden. It's definitely a place to re-visit.

Just had lunch with my partner and 2 children. From walking in the door it was very welcoming, friendly the staff couldn't do enough for us. We were celebrating our sons 3rd birthday and they went out of thier way to make it special for him. We will be back, thank you.
