Ordered the fried chicken after a recommendation and am not disappointed! Fabulous! Meat feast pizza was gorgeous too! Wow! might be my new favourite takeaway om nom nom

Visited La Plaza Pizzeria whilst in Scarborough for the day, as first impressions looked good. Inside it's pretty basic, with rigid table / chair units for anyone wanting to eat in, but generally looked fairly clean & tidy. Behind the long counter you can see the raised food prep / kitchen area which is quite reassuring, with lots of staff all very busy & noisy. This is why I personally prefer to visit a takeaway rather than pre-order / delivery as I like to know what the place is like, and where my food is coming from, so would never use 'Just Eat', and allows me to give a more balanced review. We ordered 2 large 14" pizzas, garlic bread and chips, which took a while as there was only one young girl taking orders / serving, but she was both pleasant and efficient, and spoke English, unlike most of the staff in the kitchen area. Food was ready in about 12-15 minutes, and even after our 15 minute journey, still fairly hot. Some prices, like kebabs seemed expensive, as to be expected with high food & energy costs affecting everyone, but they had several good deals available, and so ours came to just under 30. We all enjoyed the food, very tasty, not greasy, and although the toppings were quite sparse, my Spicy Beef with onions, had loads of Jalapenos, hot stuff! Overall we thought it was very good.
