The owner/worker of this place is extremely rude and not very helpful. My husband is bordering the weight restriction for the mobility scooter he was going to hire and the guy kept hinting at his weight as if he didn't believe him when told how much he weighed. Was extremely rude about my husbands weight who to be fair has a bit of a belly but that's it. I know all about weight restrictions on them as I myself have one. There could have been a better way to explain the rules and regulations instead of being insulting. In the end my husband told him he didn't want it as he also said if my husband was lying about his weight then he would have to pay a 1000 excess if anything happened. I would not recommend this place as the guy is one ignorant individual

Rude and not helpful

went to Scarborough with my husband (have mobility issues) felt ok so left with out my crutches. After walking from the train station I quickly realised that was a mistake. I sat on a bench and asked him to nip into town to see if he could find a walking stick or something. He came back 20 mins later after visiting this mobility shop. The staff asked about my illness my size (very tactfully) and exactly what I needed. They talked him through what would be best for me and sold him what I needed not what was the most expensive. Wonderful and helpful staff, they saved my holiday
