Having visited, and enjoyed, very much many holidays in Scarborough myself and my family endured an exceptionally high number of seagull droppings on to our clothes, while walking the promenade, also when stopping to sit and drink/eat out on the outside tables at the cafes, the seats and tables were covered in seagull droppings, much worse than previous trips, not so sure why?, but enough for us to not visit again, shame really because we like Scarborough.
