Seaside Salt Scarborough - Children's Speech & Language Therapy Scarborough

Seaside SaLT have been fantastic for my son! He genuinely looks forward to his therapy sessions with Kate which she does with him at nursery. Kate emails me after every session to let me know how he has got on and what they have done, so we can continue practicing at home. His confidence with speech has grown massively and I genuinely can't recommend Seaside SaLT enough!

I contacted Seaside SaLT at the beginning of the year, as my son has some difficulties understanding language and has a mild stammer. Helen Harron has been extremely supportive and professional, providing online sessions during lockdown as well as school visits. Helen has also liaised with my sons teachers and teaching assistants on how to carry out the therapy plan and provided them with advice on how they can help his language development and stammer. Seaside SaLT have been a lifeline for my son. He really enjoys his visits from Helen and we have seen progression within a few months. The sessions are fun and engaging and have really helped develop his communication and understanding. We're extremely grateful to Seaside SaLT and throughly recommend them.

Genuinely couldn't rate Sea Salt enough, We've had such a great experience with them! My 4 year old had been waiting 2+ years for s&l after referral, unfortunately NHS wait times are unavoidable but our children's speech & commication is so so important. We've worked with Kate for the past 6 weeks. Shes been great with my son, really friendly and and he was immediately comfortable with her. Kate visited our home and did a really through initial assment so she knew exactly what needed to be worked on. From there Kate visits J once a week in his school setting. He looks forward to seeing her everyweek! Kates commication with J teachers aswell as myself have also been faultless with a phone call after each session going over what's been worked on, how he is doing and the plan for the next session. We have found the cost extremely reasonable and 100% worth it to see our sons improvement and confidence grow! His pronunciation of T is better than most children I know...being a Yorkshire kid and all! . Thank-you SeaSalt!
