A little gem! We arrived at accommodation to find a parking place easy and to pop in to get a free parking permit from James who also offered us slices of Rebecca's home made Date and Walnut cake with a cuppa on arrival, that was so nice of them We booked 2 nights stay at the fabulous Cordelia, we stayed in room 7 which was with a super king sized bed and modern very clean En- suite bathroom, the room is spacious with good quality bed linen and lovely bathroom products and again good quality towels, nice sized tv and so nice to have 2 arm chairs and table and plenty of storage space The breakfast you pre-order and was excellent with a good range of choice served by Rebecca The accommodation is furnished lovely and has a nice comfy family feel to it, on a quiet street in a good area of Scarborough with few shops/cash machine/eating out places less than few minutes walk down the street, also easy to get to Scarborough amenities within 5 minutes walk either down steps through the Italian gardens or Cliff lift (1.30 each way) down to the clean sandy beach You can also order a cheese or meat platter priced at 16 each, we ordered both, this saves you going out if you are tired from the days activities, you get this fetched to your room from 5.30pm brought by Rebecca served on a slate plate, it was beautiful we had so much choice of excellent quality local produce added with baguettes, crackers, pickles/chutneys and walnuts and apricots, Yummy! We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely book again on returning and 100% recommend The Cordelia , Thankyou X

We have booked again this year to stay at The Cordelia after several previous visits. It is a lovely house in a quiet suburb of the town, at the same time being close to the main attractions. Rebecca and James are welcoming hosts and the rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable. There are good options for breakfast and the platters are ideal for a supper. The is a spacious and beautifully furnished guest lounge available. We can recommend The Cordelia without reservation.

We first stayed at the Cordelia shortly after Rebecca and James opened and were blown away by their standards. I've lost count of the number of times we have since stayed with them and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Scarborough. Size of rooms, comfort of the beds, quality of the breakfast, and the overall hospitality reach standards other guest houses could only aspire to. Why would you want to stay anywhere else?
