I opted to pay extra for a Seaview, and pleased I did. The views were stunning....and even had a surprise visitor on the window ledge!!
The room itself was a little on the small side. The TV was only a small 19" screen. A larger, well mounted one would have been better.
The bathroom appears to have been recently modernised, although it lacked a few touches that would have finished it off (such as shampoo, shower, and hand gel, wall mounted dispensers). It should also have a loo roll holder, as not ideal having to reach begind you whilst sat down. The one thing that massively let it down was the shower. The pressure was diabolical, to the point you struggled to get wet!
The room lacked an iron / ironing board. Granted, they provided one on request, but I'd have expected one to be in the room.
The heat in the room was overly warm to the point I had a window open all night. Granted its probably better too hot than cold, but maybe an opportunity for the owners to save a little on their heating costs (the rooms being older, obviously lacked any aircon).
From a breakfast perspective, it was fantastic.
Great quality of food served, to order, and by a friendly team.
Everyone involved in running the hotel were friendly and welcoming.
From a parking perspective, it's street parking. It's free, however, by obtaining either a parking disc or scratchcard from reception. A great touch.
Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We have stayed in many hotels and so far this has to be the best.
The breakfast is freshly cooked with a wide variety on the menu from cereal to full English breakfast.
Parking is just outside the hotel and was included with the stay so no costly fees.
The staff are friendly and really helpful.
The view as you can tell from the photos is unbelievable you can see all Scarborough fronts and at night when all lights are on it is unbelievable.
Extremely clean throughout the whole hotel we would highly recommend.
