Really pleased with the new outside/yard area that Mark has built for us. It was looking really tired as the before and after pics below will illustrate. Mark has sorted out the uneven concrete floor with Indian stone tiles, tidied up bits of uneven guttering, performed some basic repairs on a store room roof and built us a new gate. They turned up when they said they would turn up (8am daily), did what they said they were going to do, and charged what they provided on the estimate. Mark and Jake did a fantastic job of transforming my bomb site at the back into a beautiful well made garden. I would not hesitate in using MM Builders in the future. We have used Mark at MM Builders several times firstly remodelling the kitchen and utility room including knocking down a connecting wall, re-plastering a bedroom ceiling and recently completing a large 60m2 patio in Indian Stone. All went well and the workmanship was to a high standard Mark is reliable keen to please and very reasonable rates would highly recommend. Phase 3, the finale of our basement conversion, and once again, Mark has risen to the challenge, this time with tiling the stairwell floor. The work, as well as damp proofing, entailed accessing very awkward areas which might have defeated someone less skilled and determined, but Mark persevered, and produced a beautiful result. Our thanks as before for all the care,thought and commitment with which he has always approached a difficult space, transforming it into one with promise and potential. We are very happy to unreservedly recommend Mark. February 2023 Once again Mark has delivered a fantastic result. This time restoring a ceiling and ornate plaster cornice following flood damage. As ever his estimate was fair, his skills remarkable and time-keeping entirely reliable. Mark's approach is always methodical and reassuring, and it would be hard to rate his expertise too highly.
