I wouldn't even give this place a one with the experience I've had today. Originally last year and the year before I had bought hanging baskets and in total 7 which were very expensive. The fuschia baskets two years running were diseased and I have my neighbour to varify this. When I went to the shop to tell them about this they said they weren't prepared to refund my money as no one else had complained before. I vowed never to use their shop again. On Wednesday 21st of June 2017, I had been making homemade jam and marmalade and had run short of strawberries and grapefruit as I needed the pips from the grapefruit for the pectin to allow it as a setting agent for my marmalade. I left my flat on wreyfield drive with 10 in my pocket and bought 2 limes at Thorpe ' s which was 48p so I knew I had 9.52 with me and my bank card. As Thorpe had no grapefruits or strawberries I headed over to this shop to buy the fruit I needed. I bought 2 punnets of strawberries at 2.50 each and 2 grapefruits 1 ruby and 1 normal and they were 79p each. I was charged 8.98 at the till. When I returned today to complain and tell them that I'd been over charged the owner smurked at me and said she would not give me a refund told me that I wasn't welcome I the shop again and she asked me to leave otherwise she'd call the police. Not once have they apologised and nor have they refunded my money. What has happened to customer service plus doesn't the customer being right not work in their shop. My guess is that they're so engrossed in their post office that they've taken their eyes off the ball and they aren't watching the rest of their business. I'm very very angry and I've been in touch with trading standards who will be investigating these issues with them . It doesn't bother me that I'm not allowed back in their shop, as after today they won't be getting any business from me. Funny that the post office is run by the queen and as far as I'm aware it's open to everyone. You can't run a business and NOT be prepared for complaints. You won't have any customers left if every time you get a Complaint from a customer that you're going to phone the police and throw them out. In my opinion you don't deserve a mark. Shocking and disgraceful behaviour by the owners. Some business eh?!!!!!!!!!!!!
