Subway

There was quite a queue when I went in, but the two staff on were pretty quick getting through the customers. I ordered a 6" sub with tuna. I asked the lad to change his gloves, as he had been handling meat and I don't eat meat, which he had no issue with doing. With every customer he served, he didn't change his gloves once moving between the meat & salad. I didn't like the fact he was handling meat, then putting salad & cheese back into the tub after touching meat without changing gloves. I get that it was busy, but I didn't think it was acceptable. Usually you have one member of staff preparing the bread & filling it with the main ingredient & another filling the sandwich with salad. It put me off having cheese and other ingredients, to be honest

Worst subway franchise I have experienced. No where to sit even in summer. Should have a table outside and one inside in summer and at at least one table inside in winter.(and this is long after most places opened up seating again). Price of a foot long sub at 6.50+ is getting to be an expensive option. FFS it's just a sandwich. Also 3pm closing is a bit ridiculous. When I lived in Salford and Northwich not so long ago those Subways closed at 7pm and 5pm respectively.

Went for my lunch just now and there was a wait I was there for around 20 mins and a couple people walked out when they were in the line but what can be expected when there is one member of staff trying to do everything. He is so hardworking and really lovely even though under stress from the que out the door. Lovely food and lovely service hope people dont judge on the wait as nothing can be done xx keep up the good work xx Vegetarian options: Loads of vegan opyons
