Care Improvement Associates

Care Improvement Associates are excellent. I had been running my care business for 2 years and due to COVID, my business was overdue an inspection by CQC. A highly qualified and professional consultant from CIA came and visited my office in Hertfordshire and delivered a mock inspection. She reviewed our documentation, checked over our systems and contacted some of our team members. We were given a full feedback briefing on the day of our consultants visit where she showed us where our organisation was doing well and where there were opportunities for improvement. A couple of weeks later we were given a full report which gave clear guidance on what steps needed to be taken to positively support our organisation through a CQC inspection. Over the next few months we implemented a lot of CIAs recommendations which meant that we were in a much better place when we actually were inspected. I am delighted to say that we were rated Good by CQC in November 2021. CIA were very communicative in the lead up to our mock inspection and our consultant was available for communication after our report was received. CIA have a very professional team and I look forward to working with them again to help our business achieve an Outstanding rating in the next few years.
