We went to Crofts as a family and enjoyed an amazing chocolate workshop with Alex! His passion shines through, we learned so much, had loads of fun and we have so much respect for this family-run business. We made chocolate bars and chocolates, learned techniques...and of course tasted the chocolate and took lots home with us. If you're wondering what you can do as a family in Scarborough, please put this high on your list! All of us (teenagers and adults) enjoyed it. We could all do things our own way, create our own designs. We had such a lot of laughs and we continued to talk about it for the whole week. Such a lovely way to spend time together :-)

We are 7 friends on an early spring break in Scarborough who wanted to do something different. An afternoon chocolate workshop at Crofts Chocolates was certainly that! Not only great fun but informative too. Alex showed us raw cacao pods and raw cocoa beans, explaining how cbocolate was made. We all made our own Easter eggs and truffles to take home Nothing was too much trouble for Alex who led us through the various stages, teaching us how to use the equipment, machinery and tools of the trade. Fabulous afternoon! Highly recommended

What an amazing place! Had a wonderful afternoon in a chocolate workshop with Alex and Sheila, making Easter eggs and chocolates. Alex talked us through the process from bean to sales, and we learnt some great skills along the way. Fascinating and fun! Thank you so much! I would recommend this experience to everyone!

We have a holiday home on St John's Road in Scarborough for 7 years now and just recently we noticed a chocolate shop at the end of the road. My daughter and I went in and decided to try a few and take some back to our home in Knaresborough. Outstanding selection, sumptuous taste, divine smell and gluten free. What's not to love? We'll be back, trust in that :-)
