Closer Communities

Closer Communities has been such a pillar of support to me and my 2 children (1 of whom has various additional needs) especially over the summer of 2020, at a time when I was feeling extremely vulnerable and isolated. Being involved with this wonderful charity has been so beneficial to us as a family and theres a real sense of care and community spirit. A helping hand and a listening ear can go a long way and Closer Communities provides this and so much more.

The last 6 months have been extremely hard, but closer communities have been there to support and help us, my son has been accessing direct payments and they have supported us with much needed respite, he has had the best summer enjoying days out beach, days and much more. But not only this they have been there for us as a family and other families and has kept the contact between us which has been massively important through these difficult times, to be able to talk to others that are going through similar things means everything. I thank closer communities for bringing and keep us all together one big family it means the world to have there support I dont know where I would be without them.x
