Went in and asked to speak to someone about mortgages. Was told that there is no one in branch who can do that and I would have to phone a number. As no rapport can be established over the phone I made it clear I wasn't happy and walked.

Pleasant staff in branch - my experience with the bereavement team was a different matter. Told I would be contacted within 5 days - I wasn't. I had to ring after 2 weeks. Told I had given them every piece of information - after another 2 phone calls - apparently I hadn't. This was a very stressful time for myself really not helped by the lack of communication at their end. 4.5 weeks later still no results. Not acceptable.
