        Great local Bank/Building Society. Pleasant atmosphere and staff that I have interacted with friendly/knowledgeable and helpful. Good range of products with good returns on savings.

        Went in and asked to speak to someone about mortgages. Was told that there is no one in branch who can do that and I would have to phone a number. As no rapport can be established over the phone I made it clear I wasn't happy and walked.

        Pleasant staff in branch - my experience with the bereavement team was a different matter. Told I would be contacted within 5 days - I wasn't. I had to ring after 2 weeks. Told I had given them every piece of information - after another 2 phone calls - apparently I hadn't. This was a very stressful time for myself really not helped by the lack of communication at their end. 4.5 weeks later still no results. Not acceptable.
