        Came to Scarborough on holiday for a week, Newcastle were playing West Ham whilst away so as massive toon fans we had to find a sports bar, we looked at reviews/photos etc and decided on Scholars. Great atmosphere, friendly bar man and lovely inside, big fan of all the memorabilia scattered around Woudl recommend to anyone

        Probably the best pub Ive been in during my 53 years on this planet and Ive been in a lot !! Fantastic friendly knowledgeable staff. Good music. 9 hand pulled beers that were superb. Interesting decor, plenty of sport on but not too invasive but it was the cleanliness that stood out. The whole place was spotless and kept clean constantly during the session. Well done .. keep up the great work. THIS is how a pub should be !!
