1 star is generous to say the most. Evri drop off never working - staff can never seem to charge their scanner!!! Overpriced and unprepared.

Its absolutely not fair to combine the historic reviews of Budgens and the new Co-op. It isnt the same shop. They are stocking considerably less local produce than Budgens and the Co-op prices are much higher. Even the basics like tomato sauce are 28% more expensive than the local sainsburys - see attached.

Very good local supermarket with all the usual selection plus local specials. Friendly staff. Competitive pricing and free parking but don't overstay by even 5 minutes and a 60 ticket! Head office had the courtesy of a reply to letter of complaint but the local store manager didn't. One star deducted for discourtesy. Since the original review, this former Budgen's store is now owned by Central Co-op. A wider selection and reasonably wide aisles. The check-out area is not well thought out as the queueing area can get very congested, particularly during 'schools out' times. A pity that many previously locally sourced food products have been replaced by store brands/suppliers. Fortunately, another local shop has taken over this support for local producers. Hope the carpark management is a little more professional. A reply to an email is that hard.
