Chester Piano Lessons

I have been having Piano lessons with Jan for around two years now, re-starting after giving up as a child. I love my lessons and have really learnt a lot. She is really patient with me. I couldn't ask for a better teacher. She is always willing and able to offer advice about what books are best, piano tuners and places to buy pianos. I would highly recommend Jan to anyone wishing to pursue piano.

Our daughter has been having lessons for the last 6 months including some over Skype during lockdown. Mrs Graham is very patient and explains things thoroughly and to an appropriate level. I have been surprised how quickly she is able to play several pieces .

Jan has been wonderful with my daughter. She brings the best out of her as my daughter can be shy and reluctant to talk, but as well as being a great piano teacher, she has the perfect manner to be a teacher and get the best out of her students. She also considers the childrens interests and as well as covering the usual pieces, my daughter is currently learning a piece from Harry Potter!

As a mature person, with no previous experience of piano playing, within 6 months I have come such a long way thanks to the teaching of Jan. Patient, professional, friendly, strict when Ive needed it too! Best decision I have made in finding the way to learn a difficult skill was deciding on Jan as a tutor.
