Chester Joinery

Chester joinery made a lovely job of our under stairs, storage and cupboard, hiding the electric meter which doubled up as shoe storage. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Chester Joinery were a pleasure to deal with. They converted our under stairs cupboard to 4 pullout drawers including a hanging coat rail. This means we can now easily access everything in our under stairs area for the first time. An added bonus is the hall already looks wider, with the lack of the under stairs door. I havent added photos purely because we will be painting the surfaces the same colour as the surrounding wall to enable it to fully blend in (a job for Easter). Thoroughly recommend.

We are really happy with our fitted wardrobe from Chester Joinery. Jason was very competitively priced and offered the biggest range of door finishes and colours for us to choose from; alongside a huge range of handles. The wardrobe works really well for us and the matching bedside table are excellent quality. All the work was undertaken within a day which was very convenient. Thank you.

Beware. Jason designed a floor to ceiling 4m built-in bookcase and we had signed off on plans. My wife told me it wasn't going well, so I went home to have a look. Indeed, Jason had ignored the plans and basically built an Ikea Billy bookcase. Additionally, he hadn't measured up properly and had not accounted for the sockets. So for 2,136 this is what we have. When challenged he just picked up his tools and left. I suppose the small claims court will sort it out, but Jason had zero client engagement skills and his behaviour was just unprofessional. Edit: this man also sent harassing emails to my employer and made a string of malicious police reports. The other negative review which is denied by the vendor is also verifiably authentic.

I have used Chester joinery twice, in my old and new home. Both times I had a great experience and was very happy with the finished work. The first job was a boiler cupboard and the second fitted wardrobes. Adele, the sales manager, is one of the most professional and organised people I have ever dealt with. Her email communication was prompt and the quotation and payment plan was sent to me in a timely manner. I paid for the materials upfront and then for the installation once the job was completed. Both the payment plan and quotation were very reasonable. Jason is reliable and arrives on time. He was respectful of my property and even hoovered after the work was finished. I couldnt tell he had been working in the room. Jason is efficient and completed the work in the timescale set out at the start of the job. I am extremely happy with the craftsmanship of the work and Jason obviously takes great care in the quality and finish of his work. The materials are high quality. I wanted a few extra features added to the wardrobes such as a cornice and this was no problem. I would without doubt recommend Chester Joinery to any of my friends and family.
