        Met family at cafe. Huge car park. Plenty of space for sitting at cafe. Also dog friendly. Managed an hour's stroll on mobility scooter, with no difficulties.will recommend and will go back. Note have to pay for cat parking per hour.

        The red mountain bike trail here has gone from being fairly natural and interesting to paved over and boring over the last few years. It's nowhere near a red trail anymore thanks to covering everything in what may as well be concrete with a bit of gravel on top. This same thought process has been implemented across the forest too; interesting features get closed for fear of some kids injuring themselves. It's a shame as it used to be quite fun but now it's clearly aimed at families with children rather than those who want to try some mountain biking through what is a pretty nice forest. It's just not worth the ridiculous parking charges. Save your money and go elsewhere!
