What a terrible place, multiple people off with stress in the last few years, multiple staff unfairly dismissed, if you upset the management who are mostly incompetent at what they are doing they will go after you. Senior engineering management made up 3 managers are useless and take credit for every thing the lower management team does, the top tier management dont have a clue whats happening on the site as they dont engage with anyone other then the vent managers

Review written on the basis of the Accredited Register and support by Marshalls when it is needed, which is not merely nil, but Marshalls' actions amount to active opposition. In Sep. 2017 I sued Marshalls and my installer and both fought me as hard as they could despite my irrefutable proof of the failure of their Accredited Installer on multiple counts of incompetence and the failure of Marshalls 365 jointing product, and refusal of Marshalls themselves to honour the consumer guarantee - which is quite obviously worthless. The stones themselves were obviously very good, but the Marshalls maintain an Accredited Register of installers and provide a guarantee over the product and workmanship for a number of years. My experience is that, when an Accredited Installer did a truly terrible job was that Marshalls did their very best to wash their hands of me and the awful installation by their Accredited Installer. The Marshalls inspector, who showed up having quite obviously done a deal with the installer away from my address (evidenced not just by the fact the inspector approved a job a court later held to be wholly defective, but they arrived in tandem and didn't greet each other when supposedly meeting at my address), did not even bring a spirit level. 1. He failed to notice the total absence of a fall to my patio (meaning standing water puddled and caused various consequential problems); 2. He failed to notice that the Marshalls 365 jointing material, many months after being laid was still as soft as wet cement when Marshalls say it "sets like concrete"; 3. He failed to notice that the stones had a hollow sound caused by, as I have proven by lifting one, the installer spot-bedding the whole patio rather than laying a full bed of sand/cement; 4. He failed to notice that the installer had installed a slope back toward my front door so water pools there rather than running away; 5. He failed to notice that the joints were of varying depths and some held pools of water promoting algae growth; 6. He failed to notice that two chips - filled with jointing material, so obviously original, existed on my stones where the installer had carelessly chipped them during the lay. 7. He failed to detect that some slabs were laid directly onto mud. Seriously - no hardcore sub-base at all. The 'Accredited Installer' put mortar onto mud evidently assuming I would never lift the slabs and discover this. 8. He made it patently obvious that he was uninterested in supporting me as the customer and only interested in protecting the installer. I settled as regards Marshalls, and in February 2018 I won against the installer at court (for liability), finally succeeding on recovering the price paid in February 2019 after an expect had assessed the area and produced a report to assist the court determine quantum. If you are going to buy Marshalls stones get a trusted independent installer and do not expect any aftercare from Marshalls themselves. Marshalls is a cowboy firm supporting cowboy installers.

Poorly laid patio by a Marshalls installer and Marshalls wont do anything about it !! Interestingly their assessor came out and agreed it was not installed well - spoke to the instant but they have refuse to repair it. Chased the assessor a number of times and now he tells me he cant do anything about it Paid a premium to use Marshalls for piece of mind with the warranty. However they do not stand by it. Reading through other reviews it is a common theme. Really disappointed.
